This Privacy Policy explains how Schultz Septic LLC ("Schultz Septic," "we," "us") handles information collected through our website, schultzseptic.com. Our mobile apps have their own privacy policies, listed under Our apps below.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use a form on our website, we collect what you enter:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, and message.
- Service request form: your name, email address, phone number, service address, details about your property and septic system (such as tank location, system age, and symptoms you're seeing), site access notes (such as gate codes and pets), your preferred service date, and how you heard about us.
Information collected automatically
- Website analytics: we use Fathom Analytics to count page views and understand how our site is used. Fathom does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track you across other websites. Its reports are aggregated and anonymous.
- Server and delivery logs: our website host and the services that deliver images on our site automatically receive standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) when you load a page. This is used to run and secure those services.
- Embedded content: some pages include content from other sites, such as a Facebook video. Embedded content behaves as if you visited that site directly, and that site may collect data or set cookies under its own privacy policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or rent your information.
How we use your information

How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed for them to do so:
- Postmark delivers form submissions to our office by email.
- Netlify hosts our website.
- Fathom Analytics provides anonymous website statistics.
- Sanity and Cloudinary store and deliver website content and images.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Schultz Septic, our customers, or others.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions and service records for as long as needed to provide our services and keep accurate business records, including any period required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by contacting us using the details below. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some information when the law requires it.
Security
Our website is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to your information to the people and providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
